Block intrusive adverts on Safari
The financial model of the majority of webs we visit is based on adverts, therefore, there's not much sense of blocking every single online ad if we want to continue enjoying the contents offered by a certain website. However, not all adverts shown on webs are displayed in an ethical manner.
A browsing experience without invasive adverts
To avoid certain adverts preventing us from browsing comfortably or infecting our computer with viruses or other malware that can monitor our online activity, we can download the plug-in called Adblock Plus for Safari. With this ad-blocker, we won't have to put up with any more pop-ups or adverts played automatically taking up our full screen.
This Safari extension comes along with the possibility to be configured so we can create whitelists of advertisers so that we only see those that we consider as acceptable. In any case, if we really want to, we can choose to block absolutely all adverts on the Internet.
