Play After Burner on your phone
The youngest members of the household probably know what an arcade machine is only because they've seen it in Stranger Things, in a museum or because some old guy has told them about it. Amongst the best machines we could come across in an arcade, we definitely have to mention Sega's After Burner. This plane simulator came along with controls similar to those of a fighter plane and could also show us the full cockpit.
The After Burner remake for Android
Well, within the Sega Forever series that the Japanese company has released for Android and iPhone with some of their greatest yesteryear hits, we can now play After Burner Climax. It's a mobile flight simulator with which we can sit behind the controls of four of the most famous US Air Force fighter planes.
In this game, we'll have to wipe out our enemies, shooting down planes and dodging missiles as if we were true fighter pilots. These are the game's main features:
- Choose between an F-14 Tomcat, an F-15 Strike Eagle, an F-18 Super Hornet or a modern X-47B.
- Customize your plane 4 different paint colors.
- Over 30 different scenarios to be played on.
- 3 game modes: arcade, score attack, and climax.
- Compatible with external gamepads.
All in all, one of the best airplane games of all time has been renovated so we can play once again, but now on our Android.
