Fun indie game similar to Angry Birds
Apple Flinger is probably not the most original game in Android's history but that doesn't mean that it's not entertaining and it's not worthwhile downloading it. Its similarities with Angry Birds are quite obvious but there are also a few differences.
Kill all your enemy's monsters
Let's go with the similarities first. We'll use a slingshot to launch our bullets, in this case, apples instead of birds, against monsters and not pigs located on structures that can be knocked down. Our target is to wipe out all those creatures by hitting them with our apples or making them fall from their platforms. We'll also be able to make use of different elements and aids, such as TNT blocks.
And what are the differences? Well, that's possibly the most interesting part of the game: it's a two-player title (not online but on the same device). We'll have our own monsters and our rival his own, having to try to wipe them out before he does so to ours.
So, if you enjoyed playing Angry Birds (who hasn't?), give Apple Flinger a chance as it's also an open-source game, the APK of which can be downloaded and distributed freely.
