An alternative to Google Play to download apps
Although the Google Play Store is the official marketplace for Android applications it's definitely not the only one out there. In fact, if you're reading these lines, you've probably realized that Malavida is a store itself, offering you the possibility to download thousands of APKs for both apps on Google Play and others that you can't find there.
Alternative application store
And this one here is called Appvn, the app of another market where you'll also find software for your smartphone or tablet that comes along with an appealing design and thousands of app and video game references.
How this store works is similar to Google Play, offering you downloads as well as the possibility to update those apps that are already installed on your mobile device. These are its main features:
- Download applications safely.
- Find thousands of games and apps of all sorts.
- Function to pause and resume downloads.
- Appealing design.
- Find updated and also old versions.
- Read opinions about the apps and find whatever information you may need.
However, one of its drawbacks (it couldn't be perfect) is that every now and again we'll have to deal with annoying adverts that force us to watch videos for a few seconds.
Requirements and additional information:
- Minimum operating system requirements: Android 4.0.3.
- The installation of the app by means of the APK file requires the activation of the "Unknown sources" option within Settings>Applications.
With a degree in History, and later, in Documentation, I have over a decade of experience testing and writing about apps: reviews, guides, articles, news, tricks, and more. They have been countless, especially on Android, an operating system...
