The first contact with ArtFlow is so basic that you'll probably think that something's wrong. Can anything be more straightforward than a blank canvas to start using a drawing tool? Only if you look carefully will you see a tiny circle in the top left corner that rolls down the wide range of options hidden inside this app. ArtFlow: Paint Draw Sketchbook is half way between a basic canvas and a layer system. How to draw with ArtFlow

How it works is much easier than other drawing apps available for mobile devices but is still efficient and professional at the same time. You'll start off working on a basic canvas to which you can add different layers. Well, we had better talk about a layer, in singular, if you're not a pro user because if you don't pay you'll have to cope with just two layers. There are loads to brushes to choose from sorted by their type of stroke:

• Pens.
• Pencils.
• Brushes.
• Spray.
• Roller.
• Shapes.
• Customized.

Yes, there are loads but be careful because you'll have pay to use many of them. You can customize each one of them and edit their values such as their head, size, flow, spacing... so you can create your own brushes that will be saved in the Customized section.

Supports touchscreen pencils (such as the Samsung S Pen), turning your device into a real-life canvas.

You can also make use of other useful tools such as the following:

• Symmetry.
• Shapes.
• Guides.
• Selection.
• Paint can.
• Blurring finger.
• Rotate.
• Color adjustments.
• Undo and redo button.

It's great to be able to export the images in different formats including PSD, JPG, and PNG. And also that we can use pencils of the likes of a Samsung S Pen.

You can download and install the APK file without trouble from Google Play. You might need to get hold of a tutorial to start off but as soon as you get the hang of things it's very easy to use. From there on, it's up to your drawing skills...
