If you like "endless racing" type driving games where the goal is to hit the gas pedal to complete missions, Asphalt Overdrive for Android is for sure a game you should try.

The first spin-off of the Asphalt franchise.

Asphalt Overdrive shows some retro scenarios inspired by the 80's California environment and has nothing to do with the other saga games. The races are played in a vertical format. There are three lanes for players to drive on at maximum speed to escape from the police and complete missions.

• It includes up to 7 different types of missions, such as Escape from the police, Defeat the bosses, or Avoid the obstacles.
• The player can get up to 30 officially licensed vehicles.
• Cars can be upgraded and improved.
• The scenery replicates Southern California highways with a retro 80's style atmosphere.
• Real-time particle physics and lighting effects.
• It lets you play with or against Facebook friends and compete in events.

Unfortunately, Gameloft stopped developing and supporting this game, so you may not be able to play correctly or even access the servers. But do not worry, there are many other more recent games of the Asphalt saga such as Asphalt 8: Airborne, or Asphalt 9: Legends, that we definitely recommend you to try.
