Competent audio file manager and player
If you think that iTunes is one of the most complete audio players, you should try out aTunes. As its name indicates, this free software created in Java tried to be like iTunes when it started, nevertheless, after some time the disciple has outgrown the master and aTunes is an extremely complete application.
An open-source alternative to iTunes
As well as being able to manage many other portable players apart from the iPod, this player integrates dozens of streaming radio stations to listen to anywhere with an Internet connection. It also includes a very good search engine for YouTube videos related to the songs that we are listening to.
Among the formats that are compatible with aTunes, we will find MP3, WMA, OGG, WAV, MP4 and FLAC, so there will be very few audio files that we can't add to its library. As a complement, it allows us to rip our CDs to increase our digital audio library.
Even though it has a rather over-elaborate interface, it isn't too hard to find any of the options, because in general, it is very similar to iTunes.
To sum up, a really interesting audio library organizer and player that can replace iTunes without any problems.
