If you like the type of puzzle games where you have to match at least three similar pieces, you have plenty to choose from in the Android catalog. However, few offer something new at this point. But Electronic Arts goes one step further with this title and offers several game modes combining jewels.

A renovated classic

As is usual in this type of game, in Bejeweled Classic, players have to join at least three identical pieces (jewels, in this case) to make them disappear from the board and earn points. Moreover, if you manage to collect more than three precious stones, you can activate special powers to increase your score. Likewise, this bright game offers a clear advantage over its competitors, seven different modes (three of them, paid):

• Classic.
• Diamond Mine.
• Zen.
• Ice storm.
• Poker.
• Butterflies.
• Lightning.

Each of them offers a different challenge to make our experience completely dynamic. Combine "cards" in poker mode, stop the frost in the Ice Storm mode, release the butterflies locked before the spider eats them or face an unlimited challenge. But what really is a special incentive is the Zen mode. In it, you can enjoy a relaxing moment while looking for jeweled combinations and let yourself be carried away by the soft melodies.

The aesthetics of this title can become somewhat ornate (and maybe even a little tacky), but its different game modes make it a very attractive option. And you can compete with other players while climbing the world rankings.
