A different Linux distribution
Bodhi Linux is a distribution conceived in compliance with a concept different to others such as Ubuntu or Fedora, partially due to the Enlightenment windows management system that it makes use of.
A lightweight and fast distro
Bodhi Linux, by means of its minimalist design achieved with Enlightenment and the applications reduced to their minimum extent that come with the distro, allows us to reach a great performance speed, without using hardly any system resources. And all the latter without giving up design, usability and customization options, but quite the opposite.
Bodhi's design concept is different to other major distributions.
Some of Bodhi's features
- Low minimum requirements.
- Enlightenment windows management system.
- Customizable menus.
- Minimalistic design.
- Distribution that forks from Ubuntu.
- Many virtual desktops.
Design-friendly usability and productivity
Bodhi Linux's core is based on Ubuntu, but enhances the possibilities offered by Enlightenment to their maximum extent so that the user has a desktop that allows him/her to distribute the work tools in a neat and tidy manner. The developers have worked with usability and productivity in mind, as can be noticed in the possibility to access the menu by clicking on any part of the desktop, or in Everything, the tool that locates any document or application by just writing its name.
Enjoy a lightweight and different distribution thanks to Bodhi Linux.
