Compete in car races with cartoon characters
Older folks may remember Hanna-Barbera's legendary cartoon series Wacky Races, in which up to 11 quirky cars competed to reach the finish line. Inspired by Blake Edwards' Race of the Century (with Tony Curtis, Peter Falk, Jack Lemmon and Natalie Wood among others), it starred the archrival Dick Dastardly and his dog Muttley, whose calamities were the leitmotif of the story. Well, Boomerang Make and Race is a car racing game where we can play with these characters as well as others from the kid's television channel Boomerang.
Build cars and compete with them
In this game we can build our own cars in the image and likeness of cartoons or as we please. Then we can compete with them in different races and circuits, trying to win the maximum possible coins so we can unlock new design elements. In addition to the characters we mentioned before like Dick Dastardly and Muttley, we get Penelope Pitstop, Scooby Doo, Tom and Jerry, Bugs Bunny, Tweety...
The different car models we design will be kept in our private garage and we can use them whenever we want to compete in the races, which are packed with all kinds of obstacles. Of course, we've got to try to reach the finish line before anyone else (and maybe catch a pigeon along the way).
