Beautiful RPG with strategic battles

The Com2uS studio is back with another magnificent tactical RPG with amazing graphics worthy of a video console. This title immerses us in a medieval fantasy world in which we must guide a group of Guardians who must go back in time to prevent misfortune from befalling their kingdom. The result is simply extraordinary.

An epic story with time travel and time loops.

Chain Strike is a beautiful tactical role-playing game set in the kingdom of Eldan, which has been invaded by the Empire of Caiax, led by Lord Stein. Our protagonists will have to resort to Philias, a shattered relic that will allow them to return to the past... but which is in Stein's possession. To get it, some heroes will sacrifice themselves to send the summoner Ameline to the past to get the Philias before Stein and thus avoid the fateful future from which she comes.

Unlimited strategies and battles played on the chessboard.

But, apart from an interesting story, this title stands out for its original strategic battles, which take place on a 5x7 board with mechanics very similar to those of chess. In each turn we can use up to three action crystals, but we must bear in mind that moving costs one, and attacking usually costs two.

Each of the characters moves as the bishop, queen or rook, among others, which we must take advantage of to move them around the board in our turn. Next, we must select the character we want to attack, defend or cast a spell. The position of each character will be very important, since, if we attack an enemy that is in the attack range of other Guardians, we will be able to perform the chained attacks referred to in the title.

More than 200 legendary Guardians

But the tactical maneuvers do not end there. As we progress and complete missions, we will be able to collect up to 200 heroes with different characteristics and movement patterns through a classic gacha system. Well, before going into combat, we will be able to select up to five Guardians and deploy them on the board in the way we believe most effective to ensure victory.

An epic story mode that takes place on the Signus continent!

On a technical level, this game is a blast. Both its 3D graphics and soundtrack are a marvel. And, surprisingly, the game is completely free, and you can get all the achievements and items simply by playing every day. And it even has an online multiplayer mode with PvP combat. So, downloading the APK file is a sure hit if we like the genre.
