We usually fill up our mobile devices with so many useless applications and silly things, that they end up stuffed with junk files. If you're not an expert in this type of gadget, you'll need an appropriate app to keep your phone or tablet clean. Very similar to Clean Master, we can now make use of Clean Sweep, a cleaner for Android to keep our cache and RAM memory spotless.

How does it work?

Clean Sweep has two basic functions:

• Increase the memory space.
• Clean the junk files.

And that's it. Don't fall for any additional features because it's basically trying to sell you apps that work as standalone tools. The app can also be somewhat bothersome with so many adverts and notifications: you already know that your memory is full, you don't need the application to remind you each time you unlock your phone.

Within the section to increase the memory space, you can shut down tools running in the background that you aren't using and also check the temperature of the CPU and cool it down if necessary. You've also got the option to ignore the recommendations in order to never close them down. Forget about the antivirus button because it's an invitation to install another tool. In the junk file section, you can delete:

• Cache memory.
• Junk files.
• Adverts.
• Outdated APKs.
• Other useless files.

Check the temperature of your device and analyze the applications that cause it to overheat.

One of the most positive aspects of Clean Sweep is its style and design. The guys at Lazys Austra have managed to make their cleaner look beautiful. The animations involving rockets and shooting stars look really good and fit in well with each function. Very nice.
