Microsoft Messenger is back
The online instant messaging system created by Microsoft, MSN Messenger, that was later replaced by Windows Live Messenger (and ended up shutting down due to the popularity of WhatsApp and other apps) is now making a comeback. But not thanks to the North American giant but due to the work of a Brazilian developer that has created an app that's a perfect recreation of the visual aspect of the classic chat program.
Finally: MSN Messenger for Android
The app goes by the name of CLM - Chat Live Messenger and, as we said before, it's just like having the most famous communications of the early 2000s' but now on Android. However, we can't be too optimistic about the future of this app due to a tiny detail: we need an email address to sign up and add contacts... at a moment in time when some people can't even remember their email address.
Bother all your mates with those unforgettable buzzes.
Apart from that, we can use old photos for our avatar, choose a status, select different notification sounds... all in all, if you're feeling nostalgic you can always download the APK of MSN Messenger for Android.
Requirements and additional information:
- Minimum operating system requirements: Android 4.0.
With a degree in History, and later, in Documentation, I have over a decade of experience testing and writing about apps: reviews, guides, articles, news, tricks, and more. They have been countless, especially on Android, an operating system...
