Indian government platform for students, teachers, and parents
Current technology has allowed us to develop better systems of communication that have benefited many sectors, including education. Thanks to these systems, distance learning is easier than ever, as is demonstrated by an app like DIKSHA. Developed by the Indian government, it aims to facilitate smoother communication between teachers, students, and parents, the three pillars of the education system.
Course materials and smooth online communication
This application constitutes an educational resource for the country's different school levels, offering materials and channels of communication to all of the actors that make up the system. These are its main functions:
- Interactive material created by teachers.
- Scanning system for textbook QR codes in order to find additional learning material.
- Relevant lessons and worksheets.
- Supports different content formats: video, PDF, HTML, ePub, HSP, Quizzes...
There are three separate user areas for teachers to more efficiently share materials and resources, for students to access them and do coursework, and for parents or guardians to monitor students.
Requirements and additional information:
- Minimum operating system requirements: Android 4.4.
