The Double Dragon saga strikes again
Marian, the girl from the Double Dragon saga, must have a Princess Peach complex, because they keep kidnapping her over and over again. So there's no way Billy and Jimmy are gonna back off.
The fourth installment of the franchise goes directly to our mobile devices. Developed by Dotemu studio, this beat 'em up (me versus the neighborhood) maintains that retro touch of the original game 30 years later and offers us a fantastic game in the traditional style.
When the new threat of the Renegade gang emerges, Billy and Jimmy Lee have to get ready to fight again.
The Warrior's Path is Endless
The best known saga of the beat 'em up genre is modernized (but little) in Double Dragon 4, a great fighting game that keeps the spirit of the original arcade. This time we will accompany Billy and James again in their fight against the thugs.
The control system is very simple. We have a virtual joystick and several attack buttons, which we can press to execute different karate techniques (or something similar).
In addition, we will also have a jump button, which will allow us to perform a wide range of attacks, combos and special skills. And, as in previous installments of the saga, we can also collect the weapons that we find in the scenarios or that we snatch our enemies when we kick their ass.
Once again, use the art of Sou-Setsu-Ken karate to rescue Marian, who has been kidnapped!
The bad? That the download of the APK file only includes the first mission. As soon as we defeat the shift leader (which will take less than five minutes), it's our turn to take out the wallet. However, if we are fans of the saga, it might be worth making a small investment in nostalgia and remembering those games we played in the 80s and 90s.
