This is a game designed by and for car lovers. This is where maximum speeds, frantic swerving, bends, and overtaking in extremis don’t matter. In #DRIVE the only thing that matters is driving. And also doing it well, without crashing into anything, if possible.

An endless-driving video game inspired by 70s road-action movies.

Drive in the old-fashioned way

To play this game, all you have to do is choose a car and a track. For the moment, you have four terrains to choose from – arid, snowy, forest and mountain:

  • Dry Crumbs, in the US.
  • Snowplough, in the UK.
  • Holzberg, in Germany.
  • Tofuyama, in Japan.

You will soon have more, but for now that should be more than enough to keep you busy. When you set out on your adventure, only the first terrain will be available to you. Collect postcards to unlock the rest. You will also be able to drive up to 38 automobiles with different speeds, acceleration and other features; but you will have to buy them with items that you pick up along the way.

Playability is very simple and you will be able to choose both the camera and the controls, in order to make driving is as comfortable as possible. You can also turn on “Zen mode”, in order to avoid any problems with the police or with gasoline, and just enjoy the driving without distractions. After all, that what this game with 70s esthetics is all about – enjoying your experience behind the wheel. Your goal is to drive as far as possible without crashing into anything or running out of gas. How long can you last without doing either?
