Turn your Android into a webcam for your PC
Want to hold a video conference on your computer but you haven't got a webcam? Don't worry because DroidCam is the application that can turn your mobile phone into a wireless camera that you can use for software of the likes of Skype to establish video calls.
Use your Android as a camera for your computer
How it works is really easy as you only have to download the APK to your mobile device and the corresponding client to your PC. Then, on your computer, you'll have to enter the access data shown on your Android to establish the connection, recognizing your mobile device as a webcam.
These are some of the features offered in this application:
- Chat on your computer using the camera that even captures sound.
- Possibility to connect it to our PC via USB if we don't want to use the WiFi network.
- Possibility to use our phone as a surveillance camera and establish a connection from another Android or PC.
The app supports HD resolutions and functions that include much more accurate settings controls, although we'll have to get hold of the Pro version for such purpose. In other words, we'll have to pay.
Requirements and additional information:
- Minimum operating system requirements: Android 6.0.
