Dictionary and translator between Hindi and English
English Hindi Dictionary Free is designed to work offline. The dictionary connects to a huge database to translate our words from English to Hindi or vice-versa. The database in question contains over 32 MB of information that you'll have to download once you've installed the application.
Within those 32 MB, we'll find 155,000 translations to satisfy our linguistic curiosity, although you'll never be able to learn to speak Hindi fluently with it as it doesn't include words as simple as 'hello', which is communication must when you travel to any other country.
How does it work?
When it comes to searching for a word, we can also search by context, which can turn out to be quite useful when it comes to understanding a new language. If you've just translated a word, there will be no need to search for it again, as there's a history so that you can view all the words you've already translated.
If you're going away and you want to prepare several words for your communications, you'll only have to add those words to your favorites by pressing the heart-shaped icon that appears next to the translations.
Although this APK is free, it does show adverts on the upper part of the interface. It's not something we all like so you should know that you can remove them by becoming a pro user. Furthermore, you'll also be able to change the color of the application's background and the size of the font. Another interesting function is to configure a widget that shows you the word of the day, as it's a great way of learning new vocabulary.
