Football games are usually about stringing together stunning moves and incredible shots on goal. Everybody wants to be like Cristiano Ronaldo or Messi, but what about the greatest goalkeeping stars of the likes of Buffon or Neuer? Well, here goes a football goalkeeper simulator for Android.

In GoalKeeper Challenge, we'll assume one of the most complicated roles within a football team, if not the most: the goalkeeper. A guy that always ends up alone facing danger, regardless of how good his defenders are, and who usually gets pointed at in the case of defeat but not praised in the case of victory.

This game is about taking part in penalty shootouts throughout several levels and stopping as many shots as possible. For such purpose, we'll only see our keeper's gloves that we'll have to drag with our finger to try to catch the ball. That's probably the only drawback as we won't be able to recreate the legendary clothing style of goalies of the likes of Jorge Campos or the footwork of others such as Higuita or Chilavert.

Practice hard to become the next Diego Alves... otherwise you'll end up being a David Seaman or Joe Hart.

In each case, we'll be indicated how many saves we must make to overcome each level, having to start all over again if we fail to reach our target.
