Write by hand on your Android
Some users appear to be struggling with the keyboard on their Android devices. These virtual keyboards are definitely less comfortable than the traditional ones we use on PCs. Google Handwriting Input, for both text and emojis, is a very interesting alternative.
It doesn't matter if your handwriting is bad, Google understands you.
Handwriting is back
With this application, you can write by hand on the touch screen of your smartphone or tablet in up to 100 languages. Regardless of what your handwriting is like, Google will interpret it and transcribe your messages. You can write in block letters, in italics, or even draw emojis.
Main features
- A keyboard that works as a complement to touch screen typing or voice input.
- Allows you to enter drawn emojis.
- Very interesting plugin for languages with a large number of characters.
- It works very well with most types of writing, even if you have very bad handwriting.
However, the current Google keyboard, Gboard, now allows you to write using both the regular keyboard and this handwriting option. We recommend you use it as the technology is much more recent and up-to-date.
Requirements and additional information:
- Minimum operating system requirements: Android 4.0.3.
