The companion app for Daydream headsets
Google is a company that is constantly innovating and doesn't want to be left out of the virtual reality business. Its response to this field is the Daydream headset which provides us a new experience taking advantage of our phone's capacity. But to make the most of this headset, you'll have to install Google VR Services, the app to configure this gadget and modify different settings. It's also the app necessary to configure Cardboard, the paperback version of Google's VR device.
All in all, this app allows us to carry out different adjustments such as allowing on-screen notifications when using the VR mode, accessing and exiting virtual reality apps or syncing the headset's viewers and controllers with a compatible phone. Because, as you can imagine, not all smartphones support this technology and there's only a short list of devices compatible with Google's virtual reality, the majority of which are quite high-end in terms of graphics hardware.
