You have almost certainly seen a few insect simulators, such as those that involve managing an ant colony and that are pretty much military strategy games. However, many users might find Idle Maggots to be rather unpleasant, though we are sure it will have its audience.

Manage the decomposition of carcasses with your carrion maggots

Here we have a nice game in which we will find the carcasses of a range of animals, some of them already extinct, though we can't be certain we won't find any human or alien surprises among them. Our objective is to manage the carrion in order to devour the rotting flesh and leave the skeleton as clean as a whistle. To achieve this, we will accumulate money, which we will be able to use to buy more maggots or upgrade their performance, such as their devouring speed.

Cats, birds, cockroaches... we will find all kinds of animals that have met their end and will now make a nice meal for our cute maggots. We will also be able to bring on board flies and other carrion insects that will be discovered as we level up.

However, keep out a sharp eye for animals like crows and try to drive them away so that they don't gobble up units of our carrion army.
