A firewall for Android that doesn't require a root
Did you know that there are apps installed on your smartphone that connect to the Internet without your knowing? With this firewall for mobile devices, we will be able to block all unauthorized access to the network. And no root is required!
How to limit your apps' internet access
InternetGuard is a firewall for Android that protects our device from unwanted network access. And best of all, it works even if the device is not rooted, which is often a requirement on these kinds of tools.
The idea is to stop our apps from connecting to the internet without our direct authorization. This means we will be able to extend the device's battery life, reduce data usage, protect our privacy, and have control over the system.
Applications and addresses can individually be allowed or denied access to your Wi-Fi and/or mobile connection.
Another advantage is that it is very easy to use; the main menu shows us the list of applications installed on the device and by tapping on the two icons in the list, access to the WiFi network or the data can be blocked.
In addition, the app features several color themes, options, and direct accesses that will come in extremely handy. And all we have to do is download the APK file in order to make the most of all its functions.
Requirements and additional information:
- Minimum operating system requirements: Android 5.1.
- Offers in-app purchases.
