Play web contents on your TV
How many times have you been with your family or friends in your living room and you wanted to show everyone a video on the Internet but your iPhone's screen was too small. With iWebTV: Cast to TV for Chromecast Roku Fire TV, you can easily play all those contents that can only be viewed in your browser straight on your 60 inch TV. And that's possible thanks to the fact that this app acts as a middleman between those contents and your Apple TV or Chromecast connected to your TV set and your WiFi network.
It's also ideal to watch all those online movies and series available on the web without having to download them, via streaming, to watch all sorts of contents hosted on the Internet, as is the case of Zattoo, for instance.
Find movies, TV programs, and play them on your TV.
What alternatives are available?
This is what we could call the light, free or simple version, slightly stingy compared to giants of the likes Plex. However, it's very useful if you only want to play web content. It's obviously compatible with 4th generation Apple TVs, Chromecast, Roku, Fire TV, and several Smart TV models made by Sony, Sharp, Philips, TCL, Vestel, RCA, Vizio, Toshiba, Magnavox or Polaroid.
However, there's a great drawback. The app is free but the content is viewed with a huge banner in the middle of the screen that you can't stop looking at. As you can imagine, to remove that banner you'll have to pay. And not just any amount of money but a monthly subscription.
