Lately "real 3D" is really in fashion, this means, films and technical presentations where the elements shown actually manage to come out of the screen, creating real 3D effects on the viewer. The intention is to make the most of this effect in both cinemas as well as video games, and if it's necessary to adapt the movie theaters and use special glasses, in video games it's necessary to install software like iZ3D Driver and also use special glasses.

The drivers you need to play the most realistic games

With iZ3D Driver and stereoscopic glasses, you'll be able to view quite a lot of games in Real 3D without problems. The list of compatible games covers from older games like Fable: The Lost Chapters to very new games that need really powerful computers like, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Even though the developers of iZ3D Driver sell special monitors, to be able to enjoy the 3D effect it's only necessary to have DirectX 9.0 installed and to configure the driver to show the images as Anaglyph (Free) and select the specific glasses that we have (they can be red and blue,...).

The graphics cards compatible with iZ3D Driver have to be at least an nVidia GeForce 7900 or an Ati Radeon X1650, that are rather old graphics cards, so iZ3D Driver can help the majority of users to play their favorite games in 3D.

Requirements and additional information:

  • Requires Red/Blue 3D glasses (complementary color anaglyphs). Requires having DirectX updated and to reboot once iZ3D is installed.
  • The trial version has certain limitations.
