The return of one of the best arcade platformers for Mega Drive
We can't deny that 8 and 16-bit video game systems such as SEGA, Nintendo, PCs, and others brought us the golden age of platform games. We all fondly remember Mario Bros. and Sonic but there are dozens of other great titles that held a top spot amongst our favorite titles: Kid Chameleon is one of them.
One of the best platform games you can find on Android
And who cares if it was released over 25 years ago (in 1992) for a console that is now totally outdated as is the case of the Mega Drive and arcade machines. This game has been totally remastered and thanks to the latter we can enjoy the adventures of its main character once again, who receives super powers each time he puts on one of his masks.
A great platform title that's back on mobile.
In this remastered version, its developers have intended to preserve the essence of the original game, only altering the gameplay and other details to the minimum extent. Not for nothing, you'll also be able to enjoy pixelated graphics and retro music (forget about polyphonic sounds):
- Over 100 stages full of secrets and hidden areas.
- Transform into different characters: maniac, human tank, medieval knight...
- Collect masks, each one with its own different powers.
- Save your game progress whenever you want.
- There's no need to be online as you can play without an Internet connection.
- Make the most of the cheats you used to use on your old console.
Thanks to the SEGA Forever collection we can enjoy this one and other legendary titles such as Altered Beast and Sonic in APK format, without needing to download any ROMs to emulate them. The Japanese company has the intention to adapt some of its greatest hits to Android smartphones and tablets (also for iPhone and iPad), therefore, the catalog will gradually increase.
Requirements and additional information:
- Minimum operating system requirements: Android 5.0.

With a degree in History, and later, in Documentation, I have over a decade of experience testing and writing about apps: reviews, guides, articles, news, tricks, and more. They have been countless, especially on Android, an operating system...
