Did you play Lapse: A Forgotten Future? We are referring to the exciting strategy game by Cornago Stefano in which players got to be the president and make difficult decisions about the survival of the human race after a nuclear apocalypse in 2075.

From the future to Ancient Egypt

After that great success, the same developer presents an official sequel: Lapse 2: Before Zero. If you played the first one and saved the world (or not), you will now travel from the future to Ancient Egypt, where you will rule a world of pharaohs to, once again, help them survive.

The game mechanics are identical to the first part, which was comparable to the great Reigns, one of the most comprehensive and original games for mobile devices. The goal is to make decisions by sliding the level cards from left to right. To do so, you always have to consider the four indispensable values of governing: the love of the people, the respect of the clergy, the power of the army, and the economy. These four aspects must always be kept as balanced as possible to advance and win without losing trust. If one of the elements falls apart, you will fail as a pharaoh and lose the game.

The main argument seems to be totally opposite. However, this second part was created to answer some questions that were left open in Lapse: A Forgotten Future, so fans of the first game will enjoy it even more.
