Pixel Launcher for all Android devices
Google's Pixel phones come along with the latest Android features, including its app launcher known as Pixel Launcher. However, you should know that once you download Lawnchair Launcher you can use it on any device provided that you're running at least version 5.0 of the operating system.
The Oreo launcher for any phone
The APK of Lawnchair is already on Google Play after being initially distributed in repositories of the likes of Github or XDA Developers, although it's a beta version that may be somewhat unstable. In any case, it's well worth taking a look at it because it intends to be one of the best Android launchers and many are already comparing it to Nova Launcher.
This app makes it much easier to customize our interface.
This open-source application incorporates different features and functions of the most modern app launcher available for Android, with a home screen that has undergone an important change regarding others such as Nougat. These are its main features:
- Integration with Google Now.
- Android Oreo shortcuts and place to check our notifications.
- Support for icon packs.
- Configuration of icon sizes.
- Customized grid size.
- Customizable dock.
- Adaptive icons.
- Possibility to blur the interface.
With Oreo, Android grants the user more freedom to customize the graphical environment, a greatly demanded aspect due to the fact that before we had to resort to third-party apps. The size of the icons or what we decide to show or hide are completely customizable.
All in all, if you want to see what Android 8.0 would look like on your phone, start downloading this app right away bearing in mind what we mentioned earlier: it's an application that's still under development and it might not work as well as we would like it to.
