Print your own covers directly on your CDs and DVDs with this technology
If you have a recorder with LightScribe technology (something that you can find out by looking on the front of your recording device and searching for the logo), you have in your possession one of the most advanced and useful customization technologies that exist. Developed by HP, with LightScribe it's possible to laser-etch any compatible optical disc.
And with LightScribe System Software you will be able to make sure that everything works properly. In general, when we want to burn a disc (CD or DVD) its top allows us to label it with a marker, on the other hand, the LightScribe discs include a small layer that allow the compatible recorders to generate a drawing. LightScribe System Software only makes sure that the compatibility between the burning software and the recorder is complete. This software is absolutely essential when it comes to etching the discs because it is the program in charge of activating the communication between the software and the recorder.
Of course, to etch the disc you'll have to have a burning application that's compatible with this technology and a cover prepared.
So now you know, burn your data onto a disc, turn it round and stamp its label!
