Lineage's world of medieval fantasy
Back in 1998, the first title of the series of medieval fantasy MMORPG games, Lineage, was released. Since then, it has become one of the most popular sagas in this genre. As couldn't be otherwise, we can now play its mobile version on Android devices. We're talking about Lineage M, which takes us back to the saga's world of fantasy and makes the most of the multiplayer functions that this platform offers.
One of the most successful MMORPGs in its mobile version
With regard to the game itself, we'll come across four kinds of characters that can be chosen depending on the gamer's preferences, since each one of them has its own strengths and weaknesses that can condition how we play:
- Prince: it's a kind of player that makes the game more complicated as it demands more self-control and strategic thinking on behalf of the player.
- Knight: without a doubt, the most indicated character for those players that prefer hand-to-hand fights because they are precisely its strongest points.
- Elf: it offers us a medium difficulty level because elves are decent during the battle but not in hand-to-hand fights. Their greatest strength is their skill with the bow.
- Mage: mages can change the outcome of a battle but can be in danger due to their limited range of action. Playing with a mage is choosing the highest difficulty level.
Each one of the four kinds of characters offers us a different gaming experience.
The game preserves the same system we've seen previously in the versions for PC, with an isometric 2D view. But this new version is exclusive to mobile phones. However, you can always play it on Windows if you download the APK file and run it on an emulator of the likes of BlueStacks.
