Fantasy card game
Magic: The Gathering is a collectible card game released back in 1993 that turns out to be the most popular modern card game at present, with over six million players in dozens of countries around the world. Based on the same rules, Magarena has been developed as an open-source alternative, a single-player card game in which we can face up to the computer.
An open-source version of Magic: The Gathering
The first version of this video game appeared back in 2009 and it has gradually evolved as it has gained more users. As we mentioned above, the game is based on Magic and comes along with the same deck of cards. However, due to obvious copyright reasons, the pictures of the cards aren't shown. If you want to see them, you'll have to download them separately.
It incorporates a rather intuitive user interface and its settings menu allows us to customize different game options. If you're a player of the physical version of Magic, there's no doubt that apart from keeping you entertained it will also help you to practice to defeat your friends when playing against them.
