Defend the castle with magic and spells
A castle wants to hire a wizard to kill the invaders with spells. Of course, you are that wizard. The tireless Nitrome studio is back with another cool arcade with great gameplay and a charming 2D design.
Cast spells by drawing them on the screen
The lucky people who played the first Ni no Kuni (the one for Nintendo DS) discovered a unique, original, and fun game system. In that video game, Oliver had to learn the runes of the magic spells and draw them on the screen to cast them. The game system for the fantastic Magic Touch: Wizard for Hire is similar.
The games in this fun arcade are entertaining and, if you are not very skilled, also short. Your role is to help a long-suffering wizard to avoid the attacks of the enemies who intend to invade the castle from the skies.
Use your finger to draw shapes on the touch screen.
Since they are very happy, they will come floating slowly in balloons. To make the invaders explode and crash on the ground, you must draw the symbols on the screen for each balloon. If an enemy brings more than one balloon, you must draw them all to eliminate it. As soon as an enemy touches the ground, the game will end, and we will have to start again.
A very nice detail of the game is that you can unlock new wizards, spells, enhancements, and power-ups. So, as the difficulty curve increases, so will your powers.
This is an arcade game with a straightforward but extremely addictive mechanic. Its graphic section is as beautiful as it is friendly, and its gameplay is exquisite. Also, the fact that we are comparing it with the first delivery of the saga of video games of Level-5 and the Studio Ghibli only says good things about it.
