Sandbox game similar to Minecraft
For many people, the greatest problem with Minecraft is that it isn't free, therefore, they can't download it and they miss out on all the exploring, crafting and other actions inherent to this peculiar sandbox adventure game. However, you can always resort to other free options, with maybe fewer functions but that can help you explore huge worlds full of pixels.
Free alternative to Minecraft
Well, if you can cope with fewer features, this game is for you. Maxi Craft Exploration Master is a title for Android with a gameplay similar to Mojang's game. In other words an open world ready to be explored and traveled.
It offers us two game modes, Survival and Creative, and we can extract new blocks with our pick ax to build the structures of our choice. We'll be able to craft resources, explore caves, mines and sea depths, create weapons, armors or new blocks...
Find new places, travel the world and meet new characters.
With plenty of patience and eagerness to explore, you'll be able to find all sorts of constructions and even other players... although the truth is that its invasive adverts don't contribute towards a great gaming experience (what else could we expect from a freeware game?) and the interaction with other users hasn't been developed too well.
But as we said before, this isn't the original game so we can't complain about not being able to make the most of all its features, as is the case of online gaming. Nevertheless, it's still a rather decent option.
