Make calls and video calls without internet connection
Instant messaging applications have changed our lives. Now we can communicate with anyone anywhere in the world at any time, but what happens when we are left without internet connection? For those cases there is this tool, a messaging and calling app through local networks.
How to make video calls without internet
Meshenger is an open source messaging app that allows us to make calls and video calls without internet connection. And how is that possible? Well, through the local network with the IPv6 protocol without using servers.
In other words, it uses local networks to connect users to each other without using the Internet. In this way, we will be able to make voice and video calls in the home or work network, for example.
To connect we will need a QR code. Once scanned, we can start communicating within the same network. In addition, this app has a dark mode and is available in three languages (English, French and German). And, of course, downloading the APK file is completely free.
Requirements and additional information:
- Minimum operating system requirements: Android 4.4.
- The installation of the app by means of the APK file requires the activation of the "Unknown sources" option within Settings>Applications.
