Analyze Office files searching for private data
Each time we generate a document, a spreadsheet or any other file with the Microsoft Office Suite, we add certain private details to those files, like for example, the name of the author, the name of the company, when it was edited, the number of times the file has been saved, etc.
If we distribute files created with Microsoft Office, all this information is at the disposal of other users.
To avoid the latter, we can make use of a tool like Metadata Analyzer, that, as its own name indicates, analyzes the files created with any of the applications of this Office suite to find out what metadata has been added to the properties of the aforementioned files.
Main features
- Analyze the information inserted by applications like Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel and Adobe PDF.
- Help to prevent the disclosure of private information associated to this kind of file.
- Intuitive and easy-to-use.
- Available in several languages.
Keep your privacy while working with MS Office, thanks to Metadata Analyzer.
Requirements and additional information:
- This application requires that you have MS Office installed.
