Contact with public administrations in Spain more easily
Let's be honest: nobody likes to deal with the Spanish public administration. The experience is usually disastrous and often becomes a real nightmare. But to cut the red tape and prevent paperwork from turning into a scene out of The Twelve Trials of Asterix, the Spanish Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation has launched this official application. Let's see what it is for and what functions it contains.
Direct access to public administrations
Mi Carpeta Ciudadana is an official app of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation of the Government of Spain and developed by the Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence. The suite is also completed with a website and a virtual assistant.
It facilitates citizens' relationship with the Public Administrations in a simple and agile way from a single place.
The purpose is to simplify the relationship between citizens and the Public Administration, providing more convenient access to users from any device. However, to enter you need an official identification system: Cl@ve PIN, Cl@ve permanent or an electronic certificate. Once in the app, you can check the following information:
- My data. Including personal data from state, provincial, and local administrations, such as social benefits, real estate, driving license points, educational qualifications, vehicles... The data can be downloaded in PDF format or QR code to a digital wallet.
- My documents. Where you can see the supporting documents generated from the previous section and share them.
- My files. To check the files of open processes in the different public administrations.
In other words, downloading the APK file of this tool makes it possible for you to have all your data in one place and check and request appointments in the different agencies as well as open files, among other things.
Requirements and additional information:
- Minimum operating system requirements: Android 7.0.
