In each game, players must accompany a human and a lab rat in their race to become a monster. To do this, you must overcome obstacles that include walls, barrels, and lava mats, shoot down members of the nuclear cleanup team, and choose the colored doors that will help the character transform into one or another monster. Upon reaching the goal, the monster will receive a score from the mad scientists who created it or it will have to fight against another monster and defeat it.
