Korean pop virtual pets
South Korea is much more than just Samsung, a decade-long war with its northern neighbor and a diet based on dog meat. They've also got what is known as K-Pop, their own music genre with bands of the likes of TVXQ!, NCT 127, Limitless or Kangta. You've probably never heard of them but once you download MY STAR GARDEN with SMTOWN they'll soon become familiar.
Create your own breeding ground for K-Pop artists and collect them
This game is very Korean-like from a conceptual point of view: we'll manage a breeding ground for artists in the literal sense of the concept as we'll plant them and make them grow in flower pots that represent each member of these famous bands. Once our artist has grown, he will become part of our collection fo virtual pets. Imagine being able to do the same with Justin Bieber, Shakira or Katy Perry...
A game for K-Pop fans.
Well, what we were on about: as we increase our collection of handsome South Korean musicians, we'll be able to unlock new resources, including the possibility to listen to their songs, view their real photos or dress them up however we want.
The game has been developed by SM Entertainment, the label company that has signed the majority of bands that have become a hit in Korea so they've made the most of their catalog for the development. By the way, there's good news for anyone who doesn't understand too much Korean: the game is available in English. Furthermore, it has taken a social approach as it has been designed offering us the possibility to add friends so we can keep an eye on how our mates are developing their own collection.
