Almost everyone is crazy about cats. Cats are the key to success in any game.

This game from the Hit-Point studio, was a hit back on its days, even though its playability is quite poor. It was so successful that game guides were released around the world when the game was only available in Japanese (you can now play it in English). But, what is so special about this cat game?

Collect adorable kittens and love them

Our goal at Neko Atsume could be summed up as loving cats. Our only goal is to lure the cats into our home with food and toys and record their visits with the camera.

Depending on the kind of food we put out (tins, fish, or high-quality sashimi) and the toys we buy, we will be visited by several different cats. One of the best aspects of the game is that some special cats will only visit us if we buy certain items (usually the more expensive ones). For example, we can only see Billy the Cat if we put on the cowboy hat, and to catch Top Cat, we will have to put on a rod with a mouse.

There are over 20 types of cats.

In total, there are 45 toys that we can buy. There are typical balls, scrapers, and tunnels, but also stoves, parasols, armchairs, beds, trains, a beer mug, and more. The kittens will play with them in different ways. By exchanging them, we will have to manage to collect the almost 70 different cats (although they only differ in the colors).

More than a virtual pet

The cats will show up every time we put food in the bowls, but we will have to close the game, wait a bit, and go back in. They will become part of our collection even if we do not take a picture of them, but they will appear shaded in our gallery.

We will not be able to interact with the cats, so they are not virtual pets. All we have to do is manage to get all the kittens to visit us. When they leave, they will give us a payment in fish, but the most grateful will also leave us a souvenir with a little story, something that we will have to collect.

As we progress, we can also buy renovations for our house and garden, and we can even remodel the stage and buy one of the seven decorations with goldfish.

This is an adorable and cute game that is great for relaxing. And we only have to dedicate a few minutes a day to make these curious and cuddly cats happy. Also, its hand-drawn graphics and friendly soundtrack are a delight. If we like cats, then getting the APK file for this game is almost mandatory.
