Square Enix's epic title comes to Android
Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent is the prequel to the role-playing game for Nintendo Switch and PC. Therefore, downloading the APK file of this game invites us to return to Orsterra to discover the origins of the heroes of this world.
An extraordinary adventure complete with a retro touch
Before starting the adventure, we will meet the Chosen One and learn the first steps and basic mechanics. In addition, we will have to choose the story we want to follow among the three available. To do so, just answer one question: are you looking for wealth, power, or fame? Of course, we will be able to enjoy all the plots at a later date.

One of the most interesting features of this game is its combat, developed by turns in the classic Final Fantasy style. You can take up to eight different characters with you and strategically place them in offensive and defensive positions. In the beginning, we will only have four heroes available, but we will soon be able to recruit others.
On the other hand, Octopath Traveler: CotC technical features also deserve a special mention. Retro 2D pixel art style graphics are combined with beautiful illustrations and extraordinary character design. And on top of that, it has an exceptional soundtrack led by Yasunori Nishiki.
In short, as you would expect from a Square Enix game, the result is a real marvel. However, this is a jewel to be enjoyed in small doses, as the development is not exactly dynamic or suitable for fast-paced players.
