Business simulation game based on Transport Tycoon
In the now classic Transport Tycoon Deluxe our mission was to become entrepreneurs and owners of a business empire dedicated to the transportation of both freight and passengers. You will have to develop a transport communication system which links up resource hubs, cities and factories.
A homage to Microprose's Transport Tycoon Deluxe
OpenTTD attempts to faithfully depict the Microprose game while at the same time expanding its functions by updating some of the situations that we might encounter in the game. It keeps the pixelated graphic, but we find some new features:
- Maps which are up to 64 times larger.
- Up to 255 players simultaneously.
- More types of structures and communication routes.
- Wider configuration possibilities in order to adapt the game experience to the user.
- Supports dozens of languages.
And you will be able to download and distribute it absolutely free beause it has been developed under a GNU/GPL license.
