The nice folk at Coolstudios offer us a journey through five worlds in which we will join a cute penguin with a very hard head. We will have to run, jump, dodge pitfalls, collect coins, and battle a bunch of fearsome enemies.

What would the original Mario Bros games have been like if they had featured penguins instead of a chubby plumber? Well, undoubtedly something very much like this.

And the developers have hardly bothered to hide that this is a very similar game. At least they have switched the toadstools for test tubes and, instead of getting bigger, our penguin will put on a red scarf that will suit him very nicely.

Penguin Run is a nice adventure and platform game that doesn't offer too many surprises, but the 2D graphics, retro soundtrack, and the cute protagonist are the perfect excuse for downloading the APK file. Throughout the 120 levels, we will face more than 20 different enemies and move around five different worlds: ice, desert, forest, beach, and fire.

The controls are very simple, though the controller never feels quite right. There are also controls for jumping, backflips, racing, and some special options, such as bombs.

This title doesn't really bring anything new to the genre, but it is a nice, entertaining game. What's more, all those levels will provide us with hours of fun.
