SEGA'S RPG in its version for Android
SEGA is one of the most important video game development companies of all time, both due to its titles and its video consoles (Master System, Mega Drive, Saturn...). Many of these games have been great hits and now some of them have been remastered for mobile devices such as Android and iPhone, within the SEGA Forever collection.
Here we'll find Sonic, Altered Beast or Phantasy Star Classics, the sci-fi RPG that was released in 1989 and that also arrived on other platforms such as Sony¡s PS2 (sold as Phantasy Star Generation 2). It's the first 16-bit role-playing game to be released in Europe and in which we'll have to face up against dangers lurking in the entire galaxy. Mutants, robots, and all sorts of aliens will be our enemies, whom we'll have to defeat with a group of characters and with all sorts of weapons and equipment.
Main features
The game brings back all the essence of the original version thanks to features and functions such as the following, and that you can make the most of on different maps:
- Campaign with other 30 hours of gameplay.
- Turn-based combats.
- Fight against mutants, robots, and other space creatures.
- Get hold of a wide range of weapons.
- Play with up to 8 different characters and make the most of their different features.
- Play offline, without requiring an Internet connection.
- Compatible with wireless gamepads.
One of the classic RPGs with the best reviews.
And the good news is that we can play an official version for PC without having to download the APK and run it on an Android emulator of the likes of BlueStacks or going mad searching for ROMs or any other strange format: it has its own version for Windows.
Requirements and additional information:
- Minimum operating system requirements: Android 5.0.
- Offers in-app purchases.
With a degree in History, and later, in Documentation, I have over a decade of experience testing and writing about apps: reviews, guides, articles, news, tricks, and more. They have been countless, especially on Android, an operating system...
