A fishy photo editor
PicsBox is a suspicious photo editor that promises us automatic retouches with neon light effects and drawing filters. However, everything seems to indicate that what we have here is one of those classic cases of "not all that glitters is gold".
Automatic retouches, but not for free
As soon as we download the APK file and open the app, we will see the three tools available: face shine, neon effect, and neon drawing. When we tap on one of the tabs (after wading through various advertising filters), the interface shows us the tool description and a button for choosing one of the images stored in the gallery.
An easy-to-use photo editor with photo backgrounds and all types of neon effects.
In a few seconds, the effect will supposedly be applied automatically and a button for downloading the new image will appear. Curiously, it doesn't even allow us to see a preview before we tap the download button and have to watch an ad. But even after having to watch lots of ads, the newly downloaded image doesn't appear anywhere.
And, of course, the app doesn't even open without an internet connection. In short, if we don't want to be inundated with ads for nothing in return, we had better opt for another photo editor that does work.
