Puzzles and escapes game based in the world of pirates
When you start playing this game, you may evoke certain youth memories inspired by the Monkey Island saga. That's not a bad starting point. This adventure is centered around a pirate that has been plowing through the seas for over ten years, and one day someone betrays him and ends up in a filthy prison. However, everyone knows that it's very difficult to lock up a pirate. Would you be able to help him escape from jail?
Solve the puzzles and decipher the codes to escape from your cell and beyond!
Decipher the mysteries to keep moving forward
Pirate Escape is a great title that stands out for its beautiful illustrations and its delightful soundtrack, but also for its complicated puzzles, that's what's important here. You have a lot of screens and settings to play for hours. You will start in a prison, but soon enough you will be able to go through other settings as you move forward in the story.
Simple but entertaining mechanics
Decipher codes and solve the puzzles to figure out how to get out of a particular room. Come on, just like in an "escape room" but without spending too much. The mechanics lie in exploring the settings and finding objects that can be useful in your mission, like a knife, an eye patch or a piece of metal, for example. Sometimes you will have to combine the items and use them afterward to find a way out.
This game is more complicated than it seems, but there lies its greatest virtue. Cheer up, as you will have to be patient to move forward because you will get stuck more than once. But if you don't mind cheating, the title includes links to YouTube with guides to escape each screen. But hey, what's important here is to have a good time.
