A week has passed since a boy discovered that all the inhabitants of his village have been kidnapped by the ghost troops. Armed with a bat and a good deal of courage, he sets out to save all his neighbors from the phantom clutches of these villains.

The Polo Games 16 studio offers us this action and platform game featuring a kid who is as brave as he is reckless. Will you help him get through the almost 90 levels of the game so that he can accomplish his mission?

A ghost adventure in two dimensions

Gameplay in Pocong Hunter is similar to that of all platform games. We will have to progress in each screen by avoiding obstacles, dodging traps, defeating enemies and collecting all the coins and items that we can.

There are almost 90 levels to play!

To make our task easier, we are able to save our progress at certain points so that we don't have to go back if the ghosts kill us. And that will happen frequently, because the game is not exactly easy.

During our adventure we will face a wide variety of ghosts who we will have to take down by hitting them with the bat. In addition, there are dark areas containing treasure and enemies, so we will have to find a flashlight so that we can see what we have right in front of us.

The graphic design is nothing to write home about, but it does have a certain retro charm that offsets the dark, terrifying atmosphere. This is complemented by the range of enemies, weapons and obstacles that we will have negotiate with different items. We will even have to hide ourselves in barrels and dodge the rakes that have been left lying around on the ground.
