Become a Randonaut and explore the world around you
Randonautica is proof that going viral and wild rumors tend to go hand in hand. This 'game' has gone viral in the last few weeks due to unsettling rumors that have led to panic on the Internet.
It is an app that provides random coordinates within a set radius. Its users, or Randonauts, go to these coordinates in order to explore and discover four different types of locations: anomalies, attractors, voids, and paranormal settings.
The Randonautica Controversy
Of course, this is simply an application that selects random locations using GPS without applying any logic. However, the Internet phenomenon has managed to spread wild rumors.
For example, a group of kids, after following coordinates on the application, allegedly found a dead body in a suitcase and shared their experience on TikTok. Another user claims to have found a strange woman babbling in a strange language after following the paranormal setting coordinates. So, if you search the Internet, you will find quite a few accounts that are highly strange, absurd, 'revealing', call them what you will. If you want to have your cake and eat it, you had better stick to Pokémon GO.
