Lucas Pope is a video game developer who surprised the world some time ago with his excellent Papers, Please. His latest creation is equally attractive and offers us an adventure based on investigations and inquiries without going over the top on the graphical aspect.

Solve the mystery surrounding the Obra Dinn

The game places in the shoes of an insurance officer from London. We have to board a ship, the Obra Dinn, which after disappearing in 1802 on its way to the Cape of Good Hope was considered as lost at sea. Now, the ship has appeared at the port in Falmouth without any members of its crew and with its sails totally damaged. Our mission is to write up a report about its damages and for such purpose, we'll have to find out what has happened on board.

Return of the Obra Dinn is a mystery-based graphical adventure played from a first-person point of view and the outcome of which is based on our explorations, inquiries and logical thinking. Its minimalistic graphics which remind us of certain point and click games of the '90s haven't been a problem when it has come to receiving awards at different video game contests.
