Take action with augmented reality technology
Your cell-phone can do many things. And now it can even measure lengths thanks to this wonderful app developed by the Grymala studio.
A virtual meter in your pocket
Ruler App is a fantastic tool that will help users to measure with your smartphone. You will find its two main functions in the main menu: a ruler and a photoruler.
In turn, the ruler is subdivided into standard and 2D. With this function, you can measure distances, lines, angles, areas, perimeters, and surfaces in real units (centimeters, millimeters, and inches). The limit is determined by the dimensions of your cell phone or tablet.
Use augmented reality (AR) technology to measure different things in the real world with your smartphone's camera.
The photoruler lets you measure distances, heights, and sizes through your device's camera. It has two functions:
- Flat. You can take a picture or choose one from your gallery and note down the measurements by hand.
- Measurement. Take a photo and the system will calculate the dimensions automatically through the augmented reality technology. However, you need a reference object near the one you want to measure so that the proportions are realistic.
Requirements and additional information:
- Minimum operating system requirements: Android 4.2.
- Offers in-app purchases.
