Child protection mode for Samsung devices
Letting our kids use our smartphones can be a problem if they start touching what they shouldn't: making digital purchases, accessing inappropriate content, modifying or destroying any sensitive document or any other inconvenience that may come about through pure ignorance. Luckily, if you have a Samsung Galaxy, you can set it to a child-friendly mode thanks to Samsung Kids Mode.
SKM, the app so children can use a phone safely
This application lets us create a user profile adapted to children, where they can access the OS in a child-friendly environment (with a design with funny drawings and so on) and where access to the phone's functions that the adult user has predefined is restricted. In addition, to exit this child-friendly mode, a PIN is required to ensure, although this is not foolproof, that the child doesn't unlock it.
Once SKM has been launched, there are different visual games, apps to modulate voice, video and animation playback... in other words, an Android environment with children's content. From a configuration point of view, the app also offers the option to set the time of use so that it's not more than recommended.
Without a doubt, this is a handy application if you have children hanging around your smartphone frequently. However, you can only use it with Samsung devices. There are other options if your smartphone or tablet is of another brand, such as Kids Place.
